Parallel computing
Parallel implementation of the self-organizing map algorithm is presented in [Ultsch et al., 1992]. Designing efficient algorithms for parallel computers is introduced in [Quinn, 1994]. A good portable language for implementing parallel algorithms is [Droux, 1995].
